- Randomized / Family Origin. Nicole (GameMasterMom) rolled physical dice on air
- What is this character’s name? - Rime
- What is their ancestry? - Manticore (Adopted and raised by a family of Brass Dragonborn chocolatiers).
- What is your job or role? - Master Chocolatier & Artisan. Rime works alongside her adopted Dragonborn family at a large, air-conditioned cottage bakery on the outskirts of a desert oasis hamlet. She specializes in crafting high-end, magical chocolates with sparkling, artisanal flourishes.
- How old are you? - Middle-Aged (A seasoned, graceful Manticore who has mastered the culinary arts).
- Describe your physical appearance. - Rime is a large, graceful female Manticore with soft, golden lion-like fur, a gentle human face, and deep purple dragon wings. Instead of a spiky tail, she has a long, elegant dragon tail. She uses her claws and tail to drizzle delicate chocolate patterns, presenting a warm and inviting presence despite her massive size.
- Describe yourself with 3 adjectives. - Sophisticated, Warm, and Chatty.
- What is a valuable item/piece of lore/secret that this character possesses? Or do they value an ideal/concept? - Lore—The Retired Assassin Wheelwright: Through her chatty, warm nature (and buttering up customers with alcohol-infused chocolates), Rime learned that the local hamlet wheelwright is actually a famous, retired assassin living in hiding.
- What is a particular quest you would be willing to recruit or hire the player characters to go do? - De-cluttering the Emperor's Dragon Hoard. Rime's favorite customer—an ancient, legendary Brass Dragon who rules the empire—is suffering from severe depression because his massive hoard has become a cluttered, overwhelming mess. Rime hires adventurers to organize his dragon lair.
- What would be their reward for succeeding? - Magical Chocolates & Dragon Hoard Relic. Upon organizing the hoard, the grateful Brass Dragon allows each party member to choose one magic item or relic from his collection. Rime also rewards the party with a box of her family's signature magical chocolates (which grant temporary hit points and stamina bonuses).
- What would be the consequence of failure or refusing the call? - Regional Desert Blight or Outlaw Status. If the party refuses the quest, the Brass Dragon's depression worsens, causing his regional lair effects to turn hostile—poisoning local water sources and creating dangerous sandstorm illusions. If the party attacks or slays the dragon, the entire Brass Dragonborn empire turns hostile against them, hunting them down as kingdom outlaws.
